Turin is an interesting and sometimes passed by in the Piedmont area. Everyone knows of the Turin Shroud which is housed and looked after here in Turin. Fiat cars are made here too. Turin has so much more to offer the visitor. Turin was in at the birth of the cafe set and as you would expect some of the best cafes in Italy are here in Turin. Apart from coffee, pastries and some “stronger” drinks you would be able to have hot lunches or sandwiches. The pastries made here are worth mentioning more so are the chocolate ones. Buy some bars of Turin chocolate to take home, it’s gorgeous! Some of the finest food is made in the Piedmont region.
If mystery appeals to you you must visit the underground tunnels below the city. This is a place where time apppears to stand still. This ancient place is beneath the modern Turin. An interesting tour but a bit spooky! Does magic appeal to you? You’ll find both black and white magic in evidence here in Turin. It is said that Turin is the heart of black and white magic. It’s up to you whether you believe it or not.
Turin was once the home of Kings and it isn’t hard to see why. It has wonderful wineries, gorgeous chocolate, amazing ski slopes where the 2006 Winter Olympics were held. Turin was once the home of Kings it isn’t hard to see why. It has wonderful wineries, and gorgeous chocolate. Simply Perfect!
