Turin Airport - Where to ski within an hour

The summer has not even finished and the skiing enthusiast will be thinking already about their winter holiday. We are the same, so we thought we would write a little article about the best ski resorts within 1 hour drive of Turin airport.

Alba - The Italian ski resort of Alba has access to nearly 6 miles of downhill skiing and is amply served by five ski lifts.

Alba ski resort sit high above 1500m so you are rest assured that skiing or boarding to the Alba is possible. With those who worry about the amount of inches that fall rest assured that lying over2000 metres, snow cover is on the whole reliable.

With numerous airports within two hours drive ski and snow board weekends are more than a reality.

Bardonecchia - The Bardonecchia ski resort has access to about 100 miles of downhill skiing, with nearly 50 pistes and 21 ski lifts. Once again as it is above 2500 metres - ski is pretty much guaranteed

With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured throughout the season.

Brusson - The resort Brusson has nearly 75 pistes and once again a pass here lets you ski in enamouring valleys.

Clavière - Clavière is part of the Milky Way Ski Area with nearly 400 pistes for you to enjoy. In addition to the skiing in Clavière will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Milky Way ski resorts of in the area.
